Chrome Moly 4130 Round Tube
4130 is a through-hardening chromium-molybdenum alloy steel. It is stocked in as-drawn, stress-relieved, normalized, or quenched and tempered condition, is not subject to temper-embrittlement, and responds to nitriding.

- Good - depends on heat treat condition; 60 - 70% of AISI B1112 screw stock.
- Average Cutting Speed:
- 120 ft/min
- Weldability:
- Excellent for alloy. Readily welded by Oxyacetylene or Electric
- Forging:
- Hot forge in temperature range of 2000°F. In forging, the finishing temperature should not be under 1800°F.
- Hardening:
- Mild hardenability characteriestics
