Contact us for stocking details

This is one of the highest strength aluminium alloys available. Its strength-to-weight ration is excellent, and it is ideally used for highly stressed parts. It may be formed in the annealed condition and subsequently heat treated. It is available in the clad form to improve the corrosion resistance with the overall high strength being only moderately affected.

American Specifications:
AMS 4044 (0), AMS 4045 (T6), QQ-A-250/12 (bare); AMS4048 (0), AMS 4049 (T6), QQ-A-250/13 (alclad)
British Specifications:
L.95, L.98, 7075-T6
